Free Guide: focus on your eye health this September

I didn’t know this would be my first blog post but I’ve had this week in my diary for a while now as I’ve wanted to find a good time to share a free nutritional therapy guide on supporting eye health and vision with helpful food and lifestyle choices. So here we are and here is a free downloadable resource to celebrate my first post, which nicely coincides with the Association of Optometrists National Eye Health Week 2026.

This is something close to my heart as we have eye health conditions in the family, some of which are hereditary and some lifestyle or age-related. Family members have had excellent care from their eye doctors and GPs and nothing in this blog post is about the very important medical check-ups and care that are essential to looking after your eyes and vision (check out Vision Matters for more info). But as my own eyesight has dramatically changed since perimenopause (any other 40/50-something women noticing that they can no longer read anything once the oestrogen plummets? By the way, this is a genuine symptom of a woman’s peri/menopausal hormonal changes), and with serious eye conditions in the family, I wanted to write something for anyone looking to support their eyes. This guide is really for those with healthy vision, looking for ways to support their eyes. But I do touch upon age-related macular degeneration, as I’ve had a couple of clients with this and have been able to provide nutritional recommendations that can sit alongside their medical care.

This really is a guide for anyone, as the foods discussed are, surprise surprise, also just generally good for our bodies. So if you want to give your body (including your eyes) some great nutrients to help support good health, click the link below to download my free guide.
